We calculate price for localization according to number of source words
We determine prices for localized translations based on the number of source words and based on the type and amount of repeated text. The price is exact, unchangeable and known prior to starting the work. The customer gets a reply shortly after we receive the source text.
We use CAT software (Trados and Transit) to calculate price
This software enables us to ascertain the number of repeated sentences and the equivalence percentage (repeat rate) of such sentences. The price calculation includes a calculation of the discount, which arises because the translation of repeating sentences is not charged at the full rate. Due to the translation memory of such software we can achieve considerable savings for some types of source texts, we can shorten the delivery deadline, decreases errors rate and also insures terminological uniformity.
Prices for using CAT software depend on how often words in the text repeat
We divide texts into three types according to repeat rate:
NEW (new words) = new words in the translation
FM (fuzzy match) = partial repetition with regard to the previous translation or translation memory
PM (perfect match) = 100% repetition with regard to the previous translation or translation memory (largest saving on translation costs)
We will tell you the localization price after receiving a request
We will gladly process a detailed analysis for every project, based on which we will recommend whether it is suitable to use CAT software for the translation and what the potential financial and time savings would be.
You can contact us with a request in person, by telephone, by email or using the
localization request form. Our project managers will immediately formulate and send a price calculation to you, which will also include the completion date and will state further details relating to the project. We provide this free of charge.
